semantic nuance Posted August 17, 2009 at 02:38 AM Report Posted August 17, 2009 at 02:38 AM Hi, Just came across 海華文庫, when I was trying to find Chinese fairy tales that are not copyrighted to record. In 海華文庫, there are Chinese folklores, 成語 stories, stories in chronological order, vocabulary list, etc. You can register for free, and then download the texts you'd like to read. Hope it helps! Quote
in_lab Posted August 17, 2009 at 02:51 AM Report Posted August 17, 2009 at 02:51 AM This looks interesting. I will try downloading when I get home. It looks like the works are free, but I think they are still under copyright. Quote
semantic nuance Posted August 17, 2009 at 03:07 AM Author Report Posted August 17, 2009 at 03:07 AM Yes, they're copyrighted, I guess. What I meant to say was that I was searching for Chinese fairy tales to record for librivox.org, and the texts should not be copyrighted. At that moment, I came across that website. Wondering if there're short Chinese fairy tales out there which are out of copyright. Quote

semantic nuance Posted August 17, 2009 at 03:34 AM Author Report Posted August 17, 2009 at 03:34 AM Thanks, roddy. I had already checked that one before your post. However, texts there seem not 'short' enough for the multilingual short fairy tales project librivox.org demands. Thanks! Quote
