That's Beijing magazine announced: Helanshan Music Festival Rock and Roll Train The 2004 Helanshan Music Festival organisers have booked a party train that will transport local fans to the scenic Ningxia region for this 3-day outdoor rock extravaganza. Festival tickets will be sold in Yinchuan and will cost RMB 380 for the full three days. Call 8516 2288 ext 2262/2264 or 6515 0032 to sign up. Does anyone know anything else about this? Quote

Tsunku Posted August 9, 2004 at 12:24 PM Report Posted August 9, 2004 at 12:24 PM Hey Niubi Just missed going to this festival with Renmin Jiezou (you met their drummer in Kunming ...) because one of the band members is in Europe at the moment. It sounded awesome and I was looking forward to seeing Ningxia, but alas the dude didn't make it back to China in time. It was cool that they were invited though I guess. However, we did attend the Grape Festival in Mile, Yunnan! I played tambourine in front of a crowd of 20,000 and earned a whopping 200 RMB. Hell yeah, rock on n stuff. Quote
