Hi,

What's the meaning of 不伦之恋 (bùlún-zhī liàn)? Does it mean "adultery"? It's in a translated manga. The original Japanese text had "不倫の恋" (furin-no koi)

援交 (yuánjiāo). In Japanese, it's the abbreviation of 援助交際 (enjo kōsai) "schoolgirl prostitution", "dating with compensation (payments, financial support, etc..."

Is it also used in Chinese or is it just a bad translation? Is it used in the full form: 援助交际 (yuánzhù jiāojì)

不伦 with 恋 or 爱 usually means incest (also 乱伦).

Baidu Baike puts the blame for 援交 squarely on Japan, but it's quite common on the Chinese-language Internet (and my brief search turned up a very recent use in connection to one of those "nubile models" that crashed the Hong Kong book fair).

A brother loves his sib sister or they love each other is called 不伦之恋. If they don’t make love, it’s still not “adultery”.

援交 and 援助交际 are used in Chinese now, and many people can understand what they mean.

泛指不符合道德伦常的情爱

Non-ethical love or something similar is more appropriate. I used "adultery" because it was used in the English translation, which was obviously wrong.
