coolsteven2 Posted August 27, 2009 at 11:41 PM Report Posted August 27, 2009 at 11:41 PM Are there Chinese games that DON'T require IDs? I don't want to get in trouble with Chinese government >.> It seems they don't want foreigners who speak Chinese to play alongside. The thing is most gamers wouldn't go to the Chinese website because they wouldn't understand... Quote
vampire Posted August 28, 2009 at 02:57 PM Report Posted August 28, 2009 at 02:57 PM google for 身份证号码生成器 or play in private servers the ID thing is for 网络游戏防沉迷系统, something that intend to prevent teenagers from playing online games all day long. Quote
coolsteven2 Posted August 28, 2009 at 04:47 PM Author Report Posted August 28, 2009 at 04:47 PM how does the 生成器 work? Quote
vampire Posted August 29, 2009 at 03:52 AM Report Posted August 29, 2009 at 03:52 AM select a place(province/city/district) and birth date then it will generate some IDs, with an ID and a random chinese name you can register an account to play. These IDs are fake (wont get you into any trouble), the only thing is you will be cataloged as "under 18 years old" group and your account will become a limited account -- can only play for 40 hours at the most per week, and after playing for 5 hours continuously exp/item drop rate/money etc will be greatly reduced. vampire Posted August 29, 2009 at 08:19 AM Report Posted August 29, 2009 at 08:19 AM they will confirm if your ID number and name match Quote
imron Posted August 29, 2009 at 09:00 AM Report Posted August 29, 2009 at 09:00 AM If they can confirm this, how come they let you keep playing if they determine you have a fake ID? (just curious that's all ) Quote

zozzen Posted September 13, 2009 at 11:35 AM Report Posted September 13, 2009 at 11:35 AM And the popular German browser-based mmorpg, Travian, has been fairly popular in China too. The official Chinese edition is called 部落戰爭. It's free , but you can pay for more advantages. Wondering why you're interested in chinese mmorpg? Quote
