leeyah Posted August 29, 2009 at 03:15 PM Report Posted August 29, 2009 at 03:15 PM Just came across two sites which may be interesting (primarily) to beginners: http://www.chinesedic.com/ which linked to http://www.chinesetools.eu/ They provide word lists with words/phrases also in image format, just click on grey coloured 书 on the left, nice calligraphy, too + characters/words given through examples in sentences, pinyin tones in colours (good for visual learners!)+ handwriting recognition, plus you can print practice sheets + flashcards and aif audio files for each character, etc etc. Additional features include eg. a page for Chinese tattoo fans Chinese Zodiac/calendar , your name in Chinese painting generator (similar to what you can find on 多语net) etc etc etc Enjoy! Chi-Eng Posted September 4, 2009 at 06:31 AM Report Posted September 4, 2009 at 06:31 AM Hey, this is very cool. It has the English, French, simplified and non-simplified Chinese. And it does not seem to have originated in China. I wonder if there is a way to check what the entries are based on, if they are based on reliable resources, and how many entries in total. Thanks for the links! Quote
