Translation of Quote

Today I read that this was an old Chinese Saying:

“as long as you’re planning a journey, you own the journey. The minute you embark on that journey, the journey owns you.”

I couldnt fins any reference to it, and wondered if there is a Chinese translation, either meaning similiar, or a translation from this.

It's not easy to come up with a proper translation.

谋事在人,成事在天?

Though I'm pretty much sure that's not correct, it's the best one I could think up.:-?

谋事在人,成事在天

Man proposes, God disposes.

"计划赶不上变化"

Literally:Plans can't catch up changes.

Standard:Changes run faster than plans.

I think the second is better.
