fengyixiao Posted September 6, 2009 at 08:04 AM Report Posted September 6, 2009 at 08:04 AM From right to left, the first word is "永",the second word is “樂”,the third may be "华",the forth may be "章"。 They are "永乐华章"。 “永乐” is a name claimed by a king in Ming dynasty,公元1403年至1424年. If the bowl is real,it will worthy a lot. Quote
firefly Posted September 6, 2009 at 11:56 AM Report Posted September 6, 2009 at 11:56 AM I think it's '永樂年制'. (made in Yongle period) Quote
ssynhtn Posted September 10, 2009 at 04:11 AM Report Posted September 10, 2009 at 04:11 AM I'm sure this is 永乐年制, and it's a fake one, because if it were real, the four words should have been arranged in two rows, each consists of two words, further more, they couldn't have been on the face of the bowl, they're supposed to be on the bottom or in the inner side of the bowl so you couldn't see them from the outside, and it's reasonable such words like 'made in Yongle periods' won't appear in such an eye-catching place, isn't it? below is my reference, you can see a real one there: http://www.cangdian.com/Doc/CangNews/html/060815071120.html Quote
