fradic Posted September 10, 2009 at 03:18 PM Author Report Posted September 10, 2009 at 03:18 PM this is not a joke,i am from croatia my name is filip.an i just need somebody to help me. what does this symbol means --升-- --羅-- an what is the symbol or how do you write letter L and letter F,one by one and than them together thank you very much Quote
muyongshi Posted September 10, 2009 at 03:41 PM Report Posted September 10, 2009 at 03:41 PM Ok... well that information would have been better in your FIRST post. As opposed to just yelling "I need help, I need help" over and over again. Now we have something that we can answer. First there is no alphabet in Chinese so there is nothing for an L and an F. Second the first character is sheng which means to rise, or promote The second one is luo which means to catch birds with a net and is also a surname. Any context? Quote

renzhe Posted September 10, 2009 at 04:15 PM Report Posted September 10, 2009 at 04:15 PM i dont understan, than if i wont just one letter i cant do it or maybe 2 or 3 letters from name, can that make some symbol or something Chinese doesn't have letters. Each Chinese character represents a concept. You can't split that into smaller sounds. thank you!but how can then i write a name of a human,or just one word from that name like L,or the name is LOREDANA You can't. You can try to approximate the sound, but you cannot write it exactly, as that particular name cannot be pronounced correctly in the Chinese language. Quote
fengyixiao Posted September 10, 2009 at 04:25 PM Report Posted September 10, 2009 at 04:25 PM 2007CHIC意大利展馆中,记者认识了LOREDANA(罗兰丹娜)这个意大利高端童装品牌。 LOREDANA(罗兰丹娜)的产品很丰富,从纱裙、小洋装到淑女装,可爱而精致。记者拿起一件适合4岁左右女孩穿的纱裙翻看,发现做工精湛,特别是纱质手感。 So ,LOREDANA in chinese is 罗兰丹娜 ,an Italian children dress company.
