PollyWaffle Posted August 7, 2004 at 11:02 AM Report Share Posted August 7, 2004 at 11:02 AM just out of interest, how accurate is this OCR?
gfross Posted August 16, 2004 at 03:33 PM Report Share Posted August 16, 2004 at 03:33 PM I just ordered ReadIris Pro 9 with the Asian OCR add-on. I'll let you know how well it works as soon as I receive it. I'm using a HP scanner -- an older model (HP 5100C), so we'll soon see if its optical DPI of 300 x 300 is up to the task or not. brettz9 Posted November 12, 2005 at 06:37 AM Report Share Posted November 12, 2005 at 06:37 AM Hi there... Just came across this forum and thread through a Google search... I was wondering if someone here would be willing to convert 4 PDF documents of Chinese text (as images) I have into HTML using any of the OCR devices that may work? I am not keen to spend a whole lot for what I think may be a one-time only need, though I could give a reasonable fee to you for your time. thanks much, Brett
