ironbadger Posted August 7, 2004 at 11:39 PM Report Posted August 7, 2004 at 11:39 PM Hey all, I have a question about the way chinese is taught to foreigners in Universities. Obviously the class is made up from people from around the world and who will not all have a language in common. Many of the websites I've looked at say that the class, from the beginning, is taught completely in chinese. It seems like this would be difficult if you were a complete beginner in the language. Also, are the textbooks used in Universities standardised or do they differ?. I apologise if I've missed something really simple. Cheers Quote
