Came across this : 原來不懂得顧忌，會令人出乎意料。。。我又上了人生的一課。。。無奈！

My translation: Seems that to not being ignorant, can result in things being beyond expectations...once again i learn another lesson in life...無奈！

I'm not quite sure how 無奈 fits in and what it means here. Also feel free to correct my translation if it's wrong.

Does 如來 refer to 如果 here or does it just mean buddha? In general is 如來 like a connecting word used in chinese writting?

壓在這裡五百年 tells the readers that this is about / a reference to the story of the monkey king. So 如來 means buddha, a noun. and 吧 (X), 把 (O).

顧忌 - to consider thoroughly, to take heed of what others may react to what you say or do

無奈 - not knowing what to do, there is nothing one can do.

I've once seen it used in the sense of 如果, but it may be just a typo. What made you associate it with 如果 ?
