Kenny同志 Posted October 13, 2009 at 05:00 PM Report Posted October 13, 2009 at 05:00 PM (edited) I came upon a chemical term 非防水炸药 and tried googling for its English translation. But GOOGLE returned only five results for the words ("non waterproof explosive ") I typed into the search box, so I am kind of suspicious about the translation. Is there anyone who could tell me whether it is the correct translation, and if it is whether there is any other more frequently-used term. Thanks a billion! PS: If you are a professional please add a "P" at the end of your input, thanks. Edited October 14, 2009 at 01:58 AM by kenny2006woo Quote

imron Posted October 14, 2009 at 02:11 AM Report Posted October 14, 2009 at 02:11 AM I imagine such a term is not really all that common anyway. You might consider "non-water resistant explosive". The fact that it's at least used in those technical books is I think sufficient to offset the fact that a web search doesn't turn up many results. (P.S. although not a translator by profession, some of my work has involved translation). Quote
