Neil_H Posted October 12, 2009 at 09:20 PM Report Share Posted October 12, 2009 at 09:20 PM Do any of these dictionaries work on Windows mobile? My HTC phone has Windows mobile on it. Looking for something that can do English, Pinyin and Simplified. It does not have to be very extensive as my abilities are not good enough to need it. Will save having to ask the Mrs all the time. " I have a Blackjack right now, and use a Lingvosoft dictionary and MSDict dictionary. The MSDict app was free for me, but the library isn't as extensive. Lingvosoft was kind of expensive, but the library is very large. For input, I use CE-Star. All of these worked great on my phone.
flywhc Posted October 21, 2009 at 11:10 PM Report Share Posted October 21, 2009 at 11:10 PM MDICT is the best and free dictionary system on Windows Mobile platform. It supports multiple languages. Only problem is you have to find dictionary database from mobile phone forums such as pdafans, pda4x etc.
Konrad Posted November 16, 2009 at 05:27 PM Report Share Posted November 16, 2009 at 05:27 PM I bought a WM phone because I wanted to run Pleco! It's not for free, but definitely worth the money. Try the demo and see for yourself.
holiday007 Posted November 27, 2009 at 02:56 AM Report Share Posted November 27, 2009 at 02:56 AM You can download our English-Chinese dictionary( www.hnhsoft.com) which supports WM Pro(Pocket PC) or WM Standard( Smartphone) on your HTC phone. Hoping that it can help you. What's your device's model?
