Pengyou Posted October 23, 2009 at 03:39 PM Report Posted October 23, 2009 at 03:39 PM My Chinese friend just gave me a relatively new Treo 650. The day after he gave it to me it was dead. I am trying to avoid telling him about this - I don't want him to be embarrassed. It is a nice phone so I don't mind having to put a few hundred rmb into it. The only problem is I don't know where to take it so that: a. I don't get ripped off b. I can get a good quality repair job done on it. I have googled looking for Palm dealers in China and have not found anything. Any suggestions? Quote
roddy Posted October 24, 2009 at 04:36 AM Report Posted October 24, 2009 at 04:36 AM CECT sells Treos in China (or at least used to) so their sales and repair places might be able to help. That'd be my first port of call. Palm used to have a list of sales outlets on their site, but can't find it now. However, if you know anywhere that sells them it's worth asking where they'd recommend for repair. How new is new though? If there's any kind of warranty or guarantee in place you don't want to go handing it over to random folk with screwdrivers. Incidentally, your location is listed at Tianjin and you've posted in Shanghai - where are you actually looking to get it fixed? Quote
