What would be the rough equivalent of the English interjection "as if" in Chinese? E.g.:

A: Don't go to China, they'll brainwash you with Communist propaganda!

B: As if!

I was thinking maybe "别瞎说" but I'm not sure.

I would translate it as 说得跟真的似的!(意思是不是真的,在某些语境下含轻微嘲讽意味)

btw, I don't think there is anywhere at all that is free from propaganda on this planet.

A: Don't go to China, they'll brainwash you with Communist propaganda!

B: As if!

补全这句话就是:A: Don't go to China, they'll brainwash you with Communist propaganda!

B: You talk as if they will do so, but I do not buy your story anyway.

才不呢 或者 才不会呢

Of course, these two translations state the general meaning, but If my understanding of the original is right, that is, if it does carry a bit of sarcasm, then I prefer my version.

No course not, that's the beauty of translation. :) But it's been very interesting to see the diverse range of replies. Thanks everyone. :clap
