huaxia Posted November 10, 2009 at 10:12 PM Report Posted November 10, 2009 at 10:12 PM Hi, all out there on this board. I plan to try out a new project with my students here on this board. They are taking second semester Chinese and would like to get more opportunities to practice their listening and speaking. I'll have them register for this forum and post their speaking sample regularly here. Would you be kind enough to give them feedback? And any other suggestions about activities to help them with their Chinese pronunciation would be helpful? Quote
BertR Posted November 11, 2009 at 10:24 AM Report Posted November 11, 2009 at 10:24 AM I have been thinking recently about creating a website where you can add submissions in different languages and have other people review it. The only problem is that I know how much time it takes do end up with a stable user-friendly website, and this would mean I can spend less time on Chinese, a lot less... :-( Quote
roddy Posted November 11, 2009 at 10:29 AM Report Posted November 11, 2009 at 10:29 AM They're certainly welcome to come along and use the forum, and one of the things they could do would be to post pronunciation. There's also some discussion already on here - eg this on teaching the tones) which might be helpful. Quote
