Understudy Posted November 14, 2009 at 05:55 PM Report Posted November 14, 2009 at 05:55 PM Hey all, I'm looking for information on a book by a historian and Author named Renqiu Yu, a professor of Asian History at Purchase College. He has a number of works, including one titled "To Save China, To Save Ourselves". I know that he has recently published a novel in China, but it is not possible to get it in the United States, and I am having some trouble gaining any information on it. I heard that it has been getting some good reviews in Beijing, and was wondering is anyone actually knows the name of the book, and if so what it is about. Quote
Xiwang Posted November 15, 2009 at 04:21 AM Report Posted November 15, 2009 at 04:21 AM The novel is 请客 (Qǐng Kè), the title of which has been translated into English as "Dinner Parties." According to the WorldCat catalog, there are copies at the New York Public Library, NYU library, and the Brooklyn Public Library: http://www.worldcat.org/isbn/7020055451 Quote
