Peking Review (北京周报) Chinese Archives?

I am about to start an intensive study of the Cultural Revolution and prefer to read the original Chinese documents whenever possible. Many of the readings in one of my English-language texts come from the Peking Review (http://www.beijingreview.com.cn/). Although I have been able to find English archives, I can't find the Chinese-version archives. Does anyone know where I might find them?

You should look for 往期, if I'm not mistaken, that would be archive in Chinese.

You didn't specify whether you're looking for an online archive or the print edition. A quick search shows no such thing as a pop-up archive or whatever in the online version of BJ Review 中文版, but if you have the English version of the articles you can try 高级检索 option, or plain 搜索. It will give you archived articles on e.g. 文化大革命. The links should then take you back to e.g. 2007 edition where you can find more links to other archived material >>2007年第45期目录.

Interesting. Is this for a class?

See below for a couple of books on the Culture Revolution. Both were published in mainland China in the late 1980s, a high-water mark for press freedom here.

Leeyah: I don't know what you mean by 往期. Also I'm having trouble using 高级检索 to find anything that old. For example, are you able to use it to find the critically important document "Decision Concerning the Great Proletarian Revolution" from No. 33 pp.6-11? (The decision was adopted by the CCP on 8 August 1966.)

Gato: It's for a class I'll be taking next semester. I'm trying to get a big head start so I can read as many of the original documents as possible (Chinese reading speed << English reading speed). I have already ordered the book by 王年一 -- wish I'd know it was available online!

往期 is short for 往期报纸/报刊, but BJ Review doesn't seem to have any in 中文版 older than 2006 available for online browsing.

This seems to be the document:

中国共产党中央委员会关于无产阶级文化大革命的决定 正文

中国共产党中央委员会关于无产阶级文化大革命的决定(十六条)

And perhaps you can find some more useful information on 文革 through these links:
