Suggestions to improve the formality of my Chinese?

When I write anything in Chinese, it's very informal and colloquial. I'm looking for a book/website that can help me write more formally. Can anyone suggest anything?

Well,instead of taking some stuffs for learning I would like to suggest you write a lot ,then things will be easier to see what writing trully is .

I mean just write more ,then your writing habits and with skills will grow naturally

Hi,

I suggest trying to read academic articles/papers posted online by graduate students/writers/professors. Perhaps try college websites? I found articles on China Academic Journals at Tsinghua but it was bcause my university had access to some articles.

I'm not sure where it was quoted from but I think it is just simply BAD Chinese...
