dillon1530 Posted December 2, 2009 at 03:22 AM Report Posted December 2, 2009 at 03:22 AM On Saturday, 12/12 from 2-5, we (That's Mandarin language school) are hosting an Open House to celebrate our newly renovated space at our Dongzhimen School. Come join us and enjoy delicious wines and baked goods courtesy of Lollipop Bakery. All Chinese language learners are invited to come meet and mingle with one another, practice Chinese with our teachers in a relaxed setting, take a look at our brand new classrooms, and even schedule a free, fifty-minute trial lesson. There is no obligation to take classes with That's Mandarin and the event is free. We're looking to provide good food, company, music, and a comfortable place to celebrate the holidays together before we all head home. Bring your friends, bring some food and good cheer, but just make sure to RSVP to cdillon@thatsmandarin.com (or underneath this post!) so that there's enough to go around! Look forward to meeting everyone! Quote

dillon1530 Posted December 8, 2009 at 01:27 AM Author Report Posted December 8, 2009 at 01:27 AM Directions to That's Mandarin Dongzhimen campus: We're located on 新中街 (Xin Zhong Jie) at the south gate of the Season's Park apartment complex. Tell your taxi driver to go to 新中街. If you're taking the bus, get off at the 东四十条桥东 station, walk a few feet back towards 新中街 and take a left onto the street. Walk all the way to the end of the street until you reach Beijing No.55 Middle School at which point you'll take a right. Walk straight ahead: the entrance to the school will be right in front of you. Call 13520620794 if you have any difficulty. Look forward to seeing you there! Quote
roddy Posted December 8, 2009 at 01:40 AM Report Posted December 8, 2009 at 01:40 AM I'll be there - the school was nice enough pre-renovations, will be interested to see what it looks like after them. Quote

tortue Posted December 12, 2009 at 04:01 AM Report Posted December 12, 2009 at 04:01 AM Bump for anyone in Beijing this afternoon . . . . What time you think you'll be there? Since I missed the Beijing toasting by a day or so, it would be fun to meet there. Quote
roddy Posted December 17, 2009 at 02:03 PM Report Posted December 17, 2009 at 02:03 PM Just a quick note to say thanks to That's Mandarin for this event - good turn out, some great food, and I met at least a couple of forums members (maybe some of you didn't identify yourselves). Very impressive new space as well. Quote
