Meng Lelan Posted December 3, 2009 at 01:18 PM Report Posted December 3, 2009 at 01:18 PM I don't know if this post is in the right place. I am going to buy a Dell Windows 7 soon. I want to be able to input Chinese characters in emails, documents, etc does anyone know if Windows 7 should be able to do all that? I guess it should... Quote
Lugubert Posted December 3, 2009 at 02:45 PM Report Posted December 3, 2009 at 02:45 PM This might be useful. I haven't installed W7 yet in the laptop that came with Vista (with free "upgrade"), so I'll follow these threads. Quote
m000gle Posted December 3, 2009 at 03:44 PM Report Posted December 3, 2009 at 03:44 PM Yes. Windows 7 is able to do this without any issue. It has input methods for both traditional and simplified Chinese, as well as dozens of other languages. The system is almost identical, as far as I've been able to tell, to what already existed in Vista and XP. Quote
