taijiphoenix Posted December 4, 2009 at 11:39 PM Report Posted December 4, 2009 at 11:39 PM Hello everyone, I have to do a chinese diaolgue for class and am wondering if I am right in my translation. I want to make a suggestion to my partner like, tonight we can go play soccer, ok? Would it be: jīn wǎn wǒmen qù dǎ zúqiú, kěyi ma? or jīn wǎn wǒmen néng qù dǎ zúqiú, kěyi ma? Or maybe both are wrong.....any help would be appreciated. Quote
skylee Posted December 5, 2009 at 12:06 AM Report Posted December 5, 2009 at 12:06 AM The first one is better. But for soccer, I would use the verb "kick" - 踢 (tī). And I would use 好不好 (hǎo bù hǎo) or 好嗎 (hǎo ma) instead of kěyi ma. Quote
