"Animated stroke order"

Hi, how would you say the phrase "an animated stroke order tool" in the context of talking about a website's software features?

I tried 一个动画的笔划顺序器 and got corrected by my teacher to

一个模拟笔划的顺序器

but I'm interested in seeing what others think as it is quite a specific phrase. It also highlights how the Chinese language talks about automated software, i.e. 动画 - animation, cartoon and 模拟 - simulation, imitation.
