ocrtech Posted December 15, 2009 at 02:42 AM Report Posted December 15, 2009 at 02:42 AM After completing the 3 Pimsleur courses I decided to use the publicly available DLI courses as my next step. Since Pimsleur seemed heavy on pronunciation but light on listening comprehension, DLI seemed like a good complement. So far I am both happy and impressed with the material. The other day I became aware of the DLI website called GLOSS http://gloss.dliflc.edu/. It provides some real world materials for learning languages. They supposedly incorporate this material or something like it into the actual DLI courses held in Monterey. Has anyone here been to DLI and if so can you provide some guidance on how this material is incorporated into the onsite courses. Quote
