xifbk Posted January 20, 2010 at 09:44 AM Report Posted January 20, 2010 at 09:44 AM For the record in case anyone makes it this far, passover does not refer to the Israelites escaping Egypt. It refers to when God killed all the first born but "passed over" the first born of the Israelites. http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Exodus+11&version=NIV Quote
Shi Tong Posted January 20, 2010 at 12:33 PM Report Posted January 20, 2010 at 12:33 PM I liked using my full surname to make up part of my given name- 方熙同 is my Chinese name, and Tom is my given name (hence Tong), I think you've got a few considerations of that. By the way- you said at the top there is a way to count strokes, and there is, it's called bi3 hua4 as far as I remember, but I dont know how it works! Quote
