natra Posted December 21, 2009 at 06:30 PM Report Posted December 21, 2009 at 06:30 PM Someone recently asked me how to write "son" and "daughter" for a tattoo they want done on their shoulder blades. Trying to think of something more literary than 儿子 and 女儿, I told her 令郎 and 千金. How does that sound? Quote
zhxlier Posted December 21, 2009 at 08:56 PM Report Posted December 21, 2009 at 08:56 PM 子 and 女 will work. 令郎 means "your son". 千金 is used to refer to other's daughter. Quote
