Shi Tong Posted April 12, 2010 at 02:21 PM Report Posted April 12, 2010 at 02:21 PM Quote Hmm, I was expecting that Taiwan would have a variant. It's basically radish cake broken up and fried with egg, spring onions, garlic and soy sauce. It appears to be a Teochew (Chaozhou) dish ooh.. I think I know what this is then.. in Taiwan they actually call it 萝卜糕 (蘿蔔糕) luóbogāo.. but maybe I'm wrong. It's a kind of glutenous cake made from radishes of one or other description, and it's fried. We had it the other night for Chinese New Year and it's loooouuurrvveellyy!! Quote
