tooironic Posted February 22, 2010 at 05:16 AM Report Posted February 22, 2010 at 05:16 AM To start you off, if it's audio files of Mandarin words you want, there are 1,744 here. Forvo.com can also be quite useful, if a bit slow. Quote

imron Posted February 22, 2010 at 12:31 PM Report Posted February 22, 2010 at 12:31 PM You could learn more vocabularly in a shorter amount of time by sitting in front of a desk studying, and by making use of SRS software and the like, but if you just want to be listening to example sentences and translations, then Pimsleur sounds pretty close to what you want. jbradfor Posted February 22, 2010 at 02:02 PM Report Posted February 22, 2010 at 02:02 PM I don't think Pimsleur is what you want. As much as I like them for learning, I don't think they are good for random reviewing, which is what it seems you want, because they cover the same vocab over and over. I haven't heard of such a tool. But if you can get a bunch of .mp3 files, it should be easy enough to write a small program to pick some of them at random and create a new .mp3 file with the words in random order. Quote
