Pleco and the new HTC

I currently use Pleco on my HTC mobile, and are very happy with the tool. I am thinking of upgrading my phone to the new HTC HD2, which has the biggest screen around. However, the new HTC does not have a stylus and operates based on heat sensor (I think that's what it's called). Do you know whether I could operate Pleco on this new HTC? Thank you.

The customer reports we've gotten so far on the HTC HD2 are mostly positive, but a few things can be tricky to control with fingertips - text selection and handwriting input specifically work much better with an OS that's actually been designed to handle finger-controlled touchscreens. (does a better job of interpreting / smoothing out finger movements than an OS like Windows Mobile 6.5 that wasn't designed for that)

However, there's about to be an official HTC stylus for the HD2 (per this article), so that may improve matters somewhat, and as I said the response has been mostly positive so far in spite of the occasional issues.

If you're considering upgrading to a new Windows Mobile phone, though, I'd recommend waiting at least until late February; supposedly Microsoft will be offering a preview of the new Windows Mobile version 7 at Mobile World Congress (which happens 2/15-2/18 in Barcelona), and it seems likely that along with that preview there'll be some manufacturer announcements about which phones will / won't be upgradeable to the new OS. From the few murmurs I've gotten, it sounds like WM7 will be really spectacular - at least an Android killer if not an iPhone killer - so it should be well worth waiting for.
