atitarev Posted February 1, 2010 at 04:30 AM Report Share Posted February 1, 2010 at 04:30 AM (edited) Is this possible at all? There are online keyboards for many languages but I haven't seen one for Chinese. Say, a Chinese friend doesn't have administrative rights on his/her PC and can't install the language support? Is there a way to type in Chinese using an online tool without having to download and install anything? roddy Posted February 1, 2010 at 05:04 AM Report Share Posted February 1, 2010 at 05:04 AM There's also InputKing, Chinese-tools.com has one - there are a few dotted about. Might also be worth having a search for '在线输入法' - there are presumably tools aimed at the Chinese market which could be better. Are there any that will run off a pen drive? I guess in a corporate environment you might not be able to do that, but could still be useful.

trien27 Posted February 2, 2010 at 03:32 AM Report Share Posted February 2, 2010 at 03:32 AM I've seen one with Zhuyin fuhao on a Taiwanese friend's computer keyboard. Bopomofo keyboard I used to download Chinese software online or ask Chinese friends and borrow Chinese language input software to use to put on another friend's computer. or I'll use "http://www.nciku.com"'s handwritten software or "http://www.mgdb.com's online input software" or "http://www.yellowbridge.com's input software", etc... Has anyone else tried this? I downloaded the jar file, double-clicked it but nothing happened. I'm in Windows XP.
