NPCR book 3 Lesson 27

I have typed the whole dialogue here for the benefit of people who are not using this book, but might be able to help. I need help with the part I have typed in red.

服务员： 几位来点儿什么？

陆雨平： 来一壶茶，再来一些点心。

服务员： 好的，请稍等。

陆雨平： 这就是我常说的老茶馆。今天我把你们带到茶馆来，你们可以了解 一下我们这儿的风俗。

马大为： 茶馆里人不少，真热闹。

林娜： 他们说话的声音太大了。

服务员： 茶一来一了！您几位请慢用。

马大为： 我们正在说声音大，这位服务员的声音更大。

王小云： 茶馆就是最热闹的地方。有的人还把舞台搬进茶馆来了，在茶馆里唱戏，比这儿还热闹呢。

林娜： 我觉得，在公共场所说话的声音应该小一点儿。来中国以后，我发现在不少饭馆、商店或者车站，人们说话的声音都很大。说实在的，我真有点儿不习惯。

王小云： 到茶馆来的人都喜欢热闹。大家一边喝茶，一边聊天，聊得高兴的时候，说话的声音就会越来越大。喜欢安静的人不会到茶馆来。他们常常到别的地方去，比如去咖啡馆。

陆雨平： 林娜说得对。在公共场所，有的人说话的声音太大了。

王小云： 我想在这儿聊一会儿天，可是你们都觉得这儿太闹。好;咱们走吧。前边有一个公园，那儿人不多。咱们到那个公园去散散步。

马大为： 好的，咱们一边散步，一边聊天。

I don't understand this part - 有的人还把舞台搬进茶馆来了 I think it means "some people are moving a stage into the tea house", is this correct? If its correct it doesn't really fit in with the context, which makes it confusing.

Then this part 在茶馆里唱戏，比这儿还热闹呢。I think it means "the performance of opera in the teahouse is more lively compared to here" Is this correct?

Where is "here"??? Since the setting of the dialogue is in the teahouse ,"here" would mean the teahouse, but then it would be comparing the teahouse with the teahouse

I think 这儿 just means "this"... it could mean "here", like "here at this moment".

I'm also studying NPCR3 so I'm not exactly an authority, but I thought that was what it meant...

I don't think it was really necessary to type out that whole thing

I don't think they are comparing the teahouse they are in now with other teahouses in China. I think they would express it differently if that was the case like add something like 别的。

Ok, I think I know what it means now - "some people are moving (building) stages in other teahouses, the teahouses which have singing and opera are more lively than the one we are in now"

Is this correct?

Yes. Someone was saying that it was noisy at the tea house where they were, so another person was trying to say that at some other tea houses, it can be even noisier.

I never understood that sentence either - thanks for asking! And thanks to those who answered too!

I came across a few parts of those books that I just couldn't understand what was being said no matter how long I tried, so I just moved on.
