trevelyan Posted February 12, 2010 at 04:58 PM Report Posted February 12, 2010 at 04:58 PM Hi Everyone, Quick new video link for those interested. The Blue Ocean Network has just released a new show on approaches to Chinese learning. Featured are David Lancashire (me) from Popup Chinese and Zhou Yingjin from the IECN Language School in Beijing, which is getting a pretty good reputation too. http://www.bonlive.com/11/60/1947-learning-chinese-in-china-part-1.shtml http://www.bonlive.com/11/60/1947-learning-chinese-in-china-part-2.shtml We had a good time recording this. The show outlines a couple of different approaches to learning, and even had a small showdown on the usefulness of pinyin. It's also the first place I think we've had the chance to really explain our philosophy of learning in the media. If you're interested in seeing how the media is covering the growing interest in everything China or interested in the future of language learning, you might want to check it out. Best, --david Quote
