Going AWOL on a student visa

So I would say, dont try it a university, the government affiliation likely has them keeping closer tabs on folks these days.

I attend a private school in Kunming, and in order to take 3 or 4 days away for a long weekend of travel I am required to fill out a "Request for Absence" form and submit it to administration as well as discuss it with my teacher beforehand. Then I must make up the missed classes after I return. My requests for absence have never been denied, but I don't really know what would happen if I did not comply with this process, since I am an obedient lad and always just do it the way I am supposed to.
