Chinese Learner Posted February 22, 2010 at 11:43 AM Report Posted February 22, 2010 at 11:43 AM Hi, I am moving back to Hong Kong from Beijing soon. Since I have been in Beijing I have accumulated some stuff e.g. hi-fi speakers, a guitar amplifier, some books and DVDs. I want to 'ship' this stuff back to Hong Kong but I have no idea who to go to? I have no idea what the cheapest way to do it is. Does anyone have any advice? Do I go to the post office? Or are there cheap companies that deal with this kind of thing? Usually when I move I tend to throw everything out and just take two bags but this time I want to keep some of my stuff. Any advice is much appreciated! Thanks! Quote
Lu Posted February 22, 2010 at 02:52 PM Report Posted February 22, 2010 at 02:52 PM I'd just go to the post office, and ship it overseas (水陸). In my experience it's reliable and not expensive. Quote
jobin Posted February 23, 2010 at 12:05 PM Report Posted February 23, 2010 at 12:05 PM Since there is a direct train 3 times a week tween these 2 points, i would try the train shipping office. Of course if you travel on the same train, maybe very easy. Or pick up in Hong Hom, Kowloon. Quote
