US Citizen in Bangkok, getting Work Visa

Recommended Posts

Hello! I'm new to the forum and have a question....

These are the documents my Chinese employer will send me...

1) Working Permit

2) Invitation Letter from Government

I am currently an American in Bangkok. Should I get my Visa in Bangkok at the Chinese consulate, or should I go to consulate in Hong Kong?

Thanks!

You mean you company already have your emplyment Licence and invitation letter in hand? the place where you can get your Z visa should have listed on the invitation letter, you can ask your company to have a look.if it reads in Hong Kong, you then need to go to Hong Kong.If it reads somewhere else, then you go to somewhere else.
