Scoobyqueen Posted March 2, 2010 at 07:33 PM Report Posted March 2, 2010 at 07:33 PM Has the BBC changed its format for the Chinese part completely. I thought you used to be able to download the podcast and the script. I can download the postcast but cannot find the script. Can anyone help? I just heard the BBC is planning to cut their website budget by 25 percent which is a pity as many Chinese people living in China are regular readers but also because it covers 32 languages (surprising for a country that has not got a tradition for speaking many languages). roddy Posted March 2, 2010 at 07:49 PM Report Posted March 2, 2010 at 07:49 PM Just google (in quotes) specific bits of text from the podcasts and if they're anywhere on the Internet that'll turn it up - the BBC site will be very well and quickly indexed, even in Chinese. If they are there, with a bit of luck they'll be in the same place every time. The BBC cuts aren't going to affect the World Service (which is funded by the Foreign & Commonwealth Office). Quote
