North Train Station to Airport?

I'm headed to Guangzhou this weekend to fly north. I'll be taking the train from Chenzhou Hunan, and was told that the fast train station (North Station?) was closest to the airport.

First, is my info correct?

Second, what's the easiest way to get from the train station to the airport? Is there a shuttle bus or subway line, or is taking a taxi the best way? If taxi is the best answer, how much can I expect to pay.

Third, how long will it take to get from the Train Station to the Airport via bus, taxi or subway?

And my last question, how easy is it to buy a fast train ticket on the same day of travel?

I think the best way to the airport is taking the bus. no subway can go there.and the taxi is more expensive.and I am sorry that I don't know how much about that.

when you arriving at the north station.you can walk about 5-10 minutes to the 新世纪国际酒店.and then take the "机场快线”（airport express）to go to the airport strightly.

if you take the high-speed railway (from Wuhan to Guangzhou).you can buy the ticket on the same day of travel.

The official airport taxi information is here. States the fare is RMB95 (plus toll).

And here is the information for the Airport Express dearlxy mentions. [i'm not saying he's wrong, as I don't know, but I don't see 新世纪国际酒店 mentioned as a stop, but I could be missing something.]

And here is information on a different bus service to the airport. It states line 1 stops at the train station, and wikitravel agrees. But again, I have no first-hand knowledge.
