Lu Posted March 19, 2010 at 08:30 AM Report Share Posted March 19, 2010 at 08:30 AM Here's another Chinese tattoo for everyone's amusement. The story below says that a 'brotherhood' of killers got so sure of themselves they all got the same tattoo. The police realised the connection between several murders and murderers because of this, and several of them got arrested. According to the article, the tattoo is supposed to say 'wees daadkrachtig', meaning 'take action' or 'be energetic'. Could be close enough, but I couldn't find that fourth character, is it a different spelling for 寬? And what does 寬制 mean then?
skylee Posted March 19, 2010 at 02:25 PM Report Share Posted March 19, 2010 at 02:25 PM It should have been 行動最實際. Very bad typo. 制 and 際 are homophones in Cantonese. Or perhaps it is a clever word play, meaning that their system is called 行動最實制.
