Any ideas? Thanks Arlo

Kenny同志 Posted March 21, 2010 at 05:01 AM Report Share Posted March 21, 2010 at 05:01 AM (edited) 照片上英国馆从视觉上把我刺到了 This sentence couldn't be uglier, very badly written indeed. How about 照片上的英国馆很刺眼(刺目)? Yet there's the possiblity that the poster meant 照片上的英国馆雷到我了. Kenny同志 Posted March 22, 2010 at 11:03 AM Report Share Posted March 22, 2010 at 11:03 AM The poster's Chinese is perplexing. If he meant the British pavilion was amazing or magnificient. It would have been better to say 照片上的英国馆让人叹为观止, or 照片上的英国馆炫亮夺目.

How much time do you think i should plan to visit the expo? 1 day, 2 days, more?? And do you think its better to buy the ticket in advance or is it possible to buy it once we get there? Thanks! EDIT: oops, just realized i probably did not post this in the right section, sorry Edited April 25, 2010 at 09:20 PM by madison
