roddy Posted March 22, 2010 at 01:17 PM Report Share Posted March 22, 2010 at 01:17 PM Sometimes I think people are a little bit ambitious with looking for transcripts. Who, exactly, is going to sit down and type one out, for free, and put it on the Internet? You might find a bit of relevant material (a lesson from Chinesepod or PopupChinese or the like) but anything else would be unlikely. phyrex Posted March 22, 2010 at 01:21 PM Author Report Share Posted March 22, 2010 at 01:21 PM You must have misunderstood me. I don't mean people typing up each day's weather forecast, I mean TV programs where they subtitle their weather forecast like they do with everything else. I've seen this in other languages and was wondering if anyone had seen something like that for Mandarin. In case you're wondering, this is motivated by the great ideas from http://www.koreaninkuwait.com/?p=1486 .
roddy Posted March 22, 2010 at 01:26 PM Report Share Posted March 22, 2010 at 01:26 PM That would be a weather forecast with subtitles, not a weather forecast with transcript then
phyrex Posted March 22, 2010 at 01:29 PM Author Report Share Posted March 22, 2010 at 01:29 PM meh, that is simply a matter of weather the subtitles are hardcoded into the picture, or might be also on the website, like you can see for example here: http://news.naver.com/main/vod/vod.nhn?oid=055&aid=0000178338&sid1=001 [Korean]
