tomgerman822 Posted September 2, 2004 at 09:29 AM Report Posted September 2, 2004 at 09:29 AM I wasn't sure whether to post this in the languages other than mandarin section, or the resources section.. oh well, heh. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knows of a solid audio/text Cantonese course? I was thinking of supplementing pimsleur with something a little more complete (considering Pimsleur only has one version atm). I looked at the "teach yourself complete" course on amazon, though people seemed to dislike it due to its lack of translations. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks Quote
Altair Posted September 5, 2004 at 08:30 PM Report Posted September 5, 2004 at 08:30 PM One choice might be Colloquial Cantonese: A Complete Language Course (Colloquial S.) by Keith S.T. Tong, Gregory James. I have the textbook, but I believe there is an accomanying cassette you can get somewhere. Here is a link to the Amazon.com.uk site: Colloquial Cantonese: A Complete Language Course Another possibility is Colloquial Chinese: A Complete Language Course (Colloquial S.) by Qian Kan. You can read more here, at the same site. Quote
