Living in Haidian

Hey all,

few days ago I was offered a job in Beijing, Haidian district. Since I have never been to China before (but it was my dream since I was a child) I am concidering to take this job for 6 months.

But this company doesnt provide an accomodation, so I need to find something quickly. The best would be in Haidian, the closer to the work, the better. I am not asking you to find me a flat:) I just want to ask you, how much usually people pay for it? Because I have no idea what prices are there. This work offers me 4000 rmb/ month. I dont know if its enough or not. When I converted it into €, its not very much, so I am kinda afraid if I can live with only 4000 rmb per month Hope you got what I wanted to ask

4000RMB isn't big. I know a place where you can get a room for 1500/month but you live with the landlord and you can't cook most of the time. I'm sure there are cheaper places but I doubt the place are any good or they might be far from the subway. Haidian is pretty big.
