Anyone seen this movie? It's the first movie I've seen featuring the Qiang minority group in it. I liked the middle school boy and his grandmother in the movie. A very brief review of Erma's Wedding is in my blog.

I saw a DVD copy of this movie at the Chinese Education Conference last weekend in San Francisco. I read the cover & wondered if it would be another Chinese film that would be okay to show to middle school kids (meaning US middle school, ages 12-14 or so, 7th/8th grade age).

I bought this movie to show my girls. I was expecting the movie to be all in Mandarin and to be a culturally educational. The story didn't capture me.
