just have short question.

奖金的发放经综合考虑新生高中平时成绩，高考成绩，获奖情况，学生工作和社会公益事业参与情况等.

I completely understand the sentence, but dont really get what the 经 is doing here.

奖金的发放 经 (综合考虑 [新生高中平时成绩，高考成绩，获奖情况，学生工作和社会公益事业参与情况等]). = 奖金的发放 已经经过 综合考虑 ABC情况等.

It seems a bit fragmentary; is it the full sentence? 经 feels like it should balance something else.

Here's the context of the sentence:

2009年夏天，包括清华，北大在内的名校纷纷推出了最新新生奖励额度。

今年，被录取的北大新生可通过网络自行申请奖学奖，最高金额5万元。奖 金的发放经综合考虑新生高中平时成绩，高考成绩，获奖情况，学生工作和社会公益事业参与情况等。

较之去年，清华大学的部分院系提高了自己的奖励金额，最高奖金为4 万元，与学校的奖励并齐，因此报考清华大学的兴盛最高可获得8万元的奖励。

It means "having" as in "having considered a set of factors including ABC".

The sentence is wong with 经 because it is incomplete. In fact, 经 here should have been 须(or 将 as is suggested by vampire) instead.

今年，获录取的北大新生可通过网络自行申请奖学金，最高金额5万元。奖金发放(须)综合考虑新生高中的平时成绩，高考成绩，获奖情况，学生工作和社会公益事业参与情况等。

The sentence structure is like this, 这项政策经综合考虑，实施的条件还不成熟。

This sentence would be incomplete if the second part were not there.

looks like a typo, the sentence is more likely supposed to be as below

今年，获录取的北大新生可通过网络自行申请奖学金，最高金额5万元。奖金发放将综合考虑新生高中的平时成绩，高考成绩，获奖情况，学生工作和社会公益事业参与情况等。
