Hello all, i have a movie project going on, i am making a tribute video for Bruce Lee. And in this video i also want to include some chinese words, but the problem is chinese is not my language .

I would really appreciate it if some of u could give me the characters for the following words or letters:

A

Tribute

To the legend

Bruce Lee

Thanks in advance.

A

Tribute

To the legend

Bruce Lee

literally translated should be

一份敬意

给予传奇的

李小龙

A standard translation is:

传奇的李小龙

致敬!

--------------------------------------

P.S.:向***致敬!is a phrase showing respect to someone.

传奇的

李小龙

致敬!

This is a best way, I've separated the words "the legend" and "Bruce Lee" into 2 lines, which is the same as your English version.:)

Oh cool, thanks alot, this makes my day. But now i have another thing, how do i get chinese words to work with my pc as i dont have a chinese keyboard.

Select the simplified Chinese input, and use english letters( which is called pinyin input) to form characters.

The pinyin is:

xiang

chuan qi de

li xiao long

zhi jing

Find the right character according to my previous post.

I have a question: why don't you copy and paste the characters directly that I have given to you?

I'd also say that copypasting is the best option.

Thanks for the help guys, the problem is that my video editing program does not recognize those characters, so i have to use another solution, ill try something.

Thanks again, and oh when the video is finished i will put the youtube link if u are interested .

传奇的李小龙, well, it seems a little ugly.

How about

此片谨献给一代武学大师 李小龙

Legend in this case, according to Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English, is someone who is famous and admired for being extremely good at doing something. So I think it is appropriate to put it into (武学)大师, a title most people would give to Bruce Lee without reserve.

Ah, it's much better.:clap

You may have to install a Chinese character language pack to your computer, that should help. Can't help you with the details, I'm afraid.

Hi Kenny2006woo, could u set these characters in the order like i did in english?

so like this:

A

Tribute

To the Legend

Bruce Lee

Or if u would say it differently in English just tell me .

此片

谨献给

一代武学大师

李小龙

How about this? It appears not so well spaced as the English version though.

or this way

此片谨献给一代武学大师

李 小 龙

A Tribute to the Legend

Bruce Lee

EDIT:

Or if u would say it differently in English just tell me

The translation and the original are equivalent.

Thanks all for the great help, i have figured it all out and i can use it now, so should i put up the youtube link when the video is finished?

Yes, please do so! It's always nice to see the outcome of answered questions.
