snowy87 Posted April 20, 2010 at 06:27 PM Report Posted April 20, 2010 at 06:27 PM Hey! I'm from Albania and I'm applying for Chinese Government Scholarship Program 2010. I'm almost done with all documents but since I would like to be taught in english, I'm a kind of confuse with universities. In a few months I'll get Bachelor Degree on Jurisprudence (3 years) and I'm applying for Master Degree (2-3 years) but I don't know what major and which University to choose. I've been google-ing lately for universities that have classes in english and I'm a kind of filled with doubt and fear but that's why I'm posting this. Need your guys!!! Which one of this do you suggest me to choose: Tsinghua University- International Relations (School of Humanities and Social Sciences) China Foreign Affairs University - International Relations Beihang University (BUAA) - Civil and Commercial Law (not pretty sure about this one coz as far as I know it is based on chinese law). If u know other universities better than these (that have majors in englisht), pls let me know. Any idea? Quote

Tsinghua U(ranks 40 in world) and Perking U(36 in world). Tsinghua is the best school in China in terms of the science and engineering. Perking U is best in terms of art and humanities. Quote
Scoobyqueen Posted April 21, 2010 at 10:05 AM Report Posted April 21, 2010 at 10:05 AM Tsinghua is the best school in China in terms of the science and engineering. But Tsinghua is probably the best known Chinese University outside China if you want a famous name. Quote
snowy87 Posted April 21, 2010 at 10:05 AM Author Report Posted April 21, 2010 at 10:05 AM Thank you "rivercao"! I know that Peking Uni is a bit better than Tsinghua Uni, but since Peking uni doesn't have any major in english... I don't know how it works in China's universities, but as far as I'm interested on law and on international relations (in english), I just wanna know if the Faculty of Social Scienes at Tsinghua University is a good one. Is it better than Beihang University? Quote
skylee Posted April 21, 2010 at 10:47 AM Report Posted April 21, 2010 at 10:47 AM Tsinghua U(ranks 40 in world) and Perking U(36 in world). Could you tell me the source? Because of my current job I am a bit interested in such rankings. Some universities (like this one) like to list their rankings. Does the scholarship programme cover Hong Kong? Universities in Hong Kong teach in English. Quote
