muellhalde24 Posted April 21, 2010 at 06:59 AM Report Posted April 21, 2010 at 06:59 AM Hey dudes & dudettes, i somehow didnt manage to find appropriate timetables for the subways. unfortunately they dont have a website where you just type in your station and it finds the best routes + times. now my question is, does anyone know, how long it takes to ride the subway line 10 from one end to the other? or how long does it take to ride the whole circle with line 2? or from dongzhimen to xizhimen with line 13? i just want to get a feeling of the distances in beijing... thanks a lot, muell Quote

Here's the site anyway. Perhaps you can get it work with the trip planning in an older browser. That site does have total trip times and timetables for each line, so it's not completely useless. valikor Posted April 21, 2010 at 01:17 PM Report Posted April 21, 2010 at 01:17 PM Line 10 is usually about 2 minutes per station. According to wikipedia, this rule should be almost perfect (42 minutes from one end to the other, 22 stations total) Line 13 takes longer. About 3.5 minutes per station. (50 minutes total for 16 stations... though I think some of the stations in the East are closer together than those farther West) You can check wikipedia for information on any line. By the way, don't ride Line 13 from Dongzhimen to Xizhimen... ;) In fact, if you're in a hurry, try to avoid going to Xizhimen ever -.- Unless you like walking long distances. Quote
