could someone translate?

someone sent me this translate, but do not know if i trust it is for a tattoo

Typically, the translation should be:

nay=内(examples:Ray=雷(lei), Fay=菲(fei))

ton=顿(examples:Houston=休斯顿, Hilton=希尔顿)

The letters in the middle has a R, so usually it should be traslated "尔"

So, my translation would be: 内尔顿

Consider 納邇東 (in simplified script it is 纳迩东), which is similar to your original (and has the same pronunciation). 納 is a surname, 邇 means "near", 東 means "east".
