Quality, reasonably priced housing for a month in Beijing

Looking for some ideas about how to live in Beijing for a month before I go to BNU for the fall semester 2010, what is a good quality place, with single rooms for a reasonable price. Im looking at around 400 dollars for the month. Anything lower than that is great. Even if its pay by the day its fine, I just need something !!

Just ask in some university´s dormitory if they have a free room for one month (during summer, I´m sure they do). The problem is, that it´s not so easy to arrange that from your home country, when you don´t participate in the school´s summer course.

So I would suggest, just rent a hotel room for one or two days (go to Ctrip.com, there you´ll find cheap ones, even for less about 10 Dollars a day, without window though, hehe). And then you start looking for a place locally. When you go to different dormitories to ask there by yourself, it might be way easier to get an approval to live their for a couple of weeks during summer.
