gedawei Posted May 9, 2010 at 10:43 PM Report Share Posted May 9, 2010 at 10:43 PM I was exploring some vocabulary on MDBG.NET and discovered that the term 关系 (guanxi) is not in the HSK proficiency test list at any level (1 to 4). Can that be correct? Here you have one of the first words foreigners are exposed to when learning about Chinese culture (if not the language itself), and the word doesn't merit inclusion at any level? I see that the two characters are in HSK separately, but not together as a term. The term is so common that MDBG even uses the pinyin as an "English" translation of the term because the word "guanxi" is so common in the ENGLISH language these days!
